These are the cats of Ochanomizu.
Even during stressful times like exams, they help students relax.
This is Bimbo. He is always sleeping.
He sleeps so deeply that he doesn’t mind it when you pet him.
This online article shows the cats of Ochanomizu.

Some students started a volunteer group to look after the cats.
They feed them (the guards at our university usually do this), and what's more, they created a Twitter account for their safety.

The account describes many cats on our campus.
It informs its followers if a cat goes missing.
There are a number of cats on campus, perhaps because of the peaceful atmosphere.
On rainy days, you will often find them in front of the library because of the covered entryway.
Just by being there, they “prevent” students from getting into the library.
It is hard for students to resist stopping and taking a picture.
As you can see, I couldn’t resist either.

Even if students are exhausted, the day cannot be all that bad after seeing Bimbo’s peaceful face.
Recently, animal therapy has been getting popular in Japan.
Nowadays therapy animals are often seen in nursing homes and kindergartens.
In a way, we can say that our university began the introduction of therapy animals in Japan!
The cats of Ochanomizu hope to see you soon!
